First Office Visit Experience

On your first visit to our office you will be greeted by our fantastic office manager, Renee. She will take you on a tour of the office before your consultation begins so that you can find your way around the office.

Your next step is to meet with Dr. Katie Cowles in a private one on one consultation. This private time will give her the opportunity to get to know you on a more personal level. We will also discuss your health concerns as well as any other additional details you wish to discuss prior to moving onto the examination which will help us assess if chiropractic care can help you.

You will begin the examination with Dr. Katie. You will then begin the exam process consisting of computerized neurologic assessment and range of motion testing. She will make sure that you understand everything. Do not hesitate to ask questions, they are expected. One of the major premises of this office is that you are responsible for your own health. After all, how can a person make the best decisions for them selves if they do not have all the facts. After the exam, Dr. Katie will take the appropriate measurements for x-rays, and take the x-rays if they are needed. She will then wrap up the exam and answer any final questions that you may have.

Finally, you will speak with Renee again to schedule another appointment with the doctor in order for us to go over the results of your tests. It is highly recommended that you bring your significant other to this appointment for support and understanding of your case.
